Lerma
The LERMA is a laboratory that gathers about fifty researchers; twenty of them are professors and the other thirty are doctoral students. Some of these research professors are appointed at the EMI (Mohammadian School of Engineering) while others work within several other Moroccan institutions. About ten of them are assistant professors preparing for their post-doctoral degree (in order to oversee research in the future).
Numerous national and international projects gather these researchers around specific themes.
Moreover, the LERMA is a part of two international laboratories associated with CNRST: the LIRIMA; a Euro-African laboratory for IT and applied mathematics research, and the LEM2I, the Eu-North-African laboratory for mathematics and its interactions.
Aside from the research and training through research activities where LERMA is highly involved on both the national and international scales, the LERMA researchers actively take part of the scientific culture projects, and organize, on an annual basis, mathematic vulgarization days with the aim of initiating the young high school students to the use of mathematics in the resolution of concrete problems.
